Each year, our programs serve more than 12,000 people who are experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, homelessness, and oppression. We also serve preschool children, as well as youth in the foster system. Our dynamic empowerment/survivor centered approach provides the tools and support to make lasting positive changes to individuals and our community.

Am I the “perfect” candidate?
Don’t meet every single requirement after reading through our openings? You may be just the right candidate for the role or future roles, and please know we value lived experience! Studies have shown that due to white supremacy culture systemically oppressed communities are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. YWCA Clark County is dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about a role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways.
How to be considered for a position?

When will the application I’ve submitted be reviewed?
Our review process typically takes 1-2 weeks and includes a thorough review of how well each applicant demonstrates their ability to fulfill the requirements of the applied for position. To ensure the review process is done in a timely process, please do not email or call to check on the status of the position.
What is the interview process like?
The interview process will change depending on the position. However, all positions do require a phone screen and one in-person interview. Additional information will be provided to applicants who have been selected to move forward with our process.
